Hello everyone. We just reached new milestone - our 10,000th dev.mobi subscriber.

We launched dev.mobi just over a year ago. We thought it was important for the mobile development community to have a single, independent source of information to help make the whole medium a success.

It's fine having brilliant handset-specific and network-specific sites, but at the end of the day, which developers only develop for one make of handset or one network operator? Very few. So hopefully we fill a well-needed role in your bookmarks list :-)

I'll be honest. We never realised how big it would become. This week, we had our 10,000th user signup, which is way more than most of the other independent mobile communities, and way beyond our original dreams.

And user/10000? He's James Bajic from Adshires, Manchester, UK. Welcome to him, and to all of our new and loyal members. We're growing faster than ever, and, as always, our thanks for your support and enthusiasm.

We're glad you enjoy using the site, and please let us know what more we can do... we are only as good as our community :-)
