I think, for me, the new "magic" properties of HTML5 or not important right now, but will probably become very important in very near future; especially as more and more smart phones are brought into the market (South Africa is generally a way behind other countries in mobile phone adoption).

When it comes to the organisation of the new properties, I would personally be partial to grouping similar properties together. However, the only problem that this might bring up would be when you really only need one property from within the group - but you don't know whether that single property is supported, as it is grouped with others.
Perhaps the best way to do this would be to supply as much information as possible, and let the developer decide what to do with it?

I'm not sure that providing *every* piece of information, in this case, is suitable. There are simply far too many combinations of the possible variables.

My own belief is that adding a property that encompasses similar ones is more beneficial for developers in the long run, because they don't need to specifically state:

if(supportsJSCapability_1 && supportsJSCapability_2 && supportsJSCapability_3 && supportsJSCapability_4 && supportsJSCapability_5 && supportsJSCapability_6){....}

Instead, they can simply:

if(supportsAdvancedJsCapability) {
}

... and be happy that it will continue to function as normal as devices become more advanced.

I’ve tried to implement some HTML5 features on my own site but sadly had to back track as I was unable to get around issues with IE. I did use the JS hack adding elements on the fly but it didn’t seem to work. My JS was not inline maybe this is an issue, must run some tests when I get a minute.
