dev.mobi is going on tour!

dev.mobi has grown to be a significant developer community for the mobile web but, for the most part, it's been an online experience. That is about to change with dev.mobi taking to the field with developer events in the San Francisco, New York, and London areas.
This is your chance to meet some of the dotMobi people behind dev.mobi and our other product offerings. It is also a chance to meet other mobile developers that are part of the same dev.mobi community as you.
Each event will be hosted in a local hotel and we will even provide you with breakfast. During the event, we will give you an overview of dotMobi and our products. Next we will dive down into each of the key product offerings including the dev.mobi site, ready.mobi, DeviceAtlas, and our soon to be available Instant Mobilizer. During the detailed sessions, we will discuss not only what is available today, but the strategy and the direction that we plan to take the offerings. Like dev.mobi membership (and many of our offerings), the event will be FREE but there are a limited number of spaces. It will have to be first come, first serve.
The details for each of the three planned events are:
- SF Bay Area - Friday, 30th May 2008 from 0900 to 1200, Stanford Park Hotel in Menlo Park, CA. Click here to signup for SF or use the URL http://mtld.mobi/node/1038.
- New York - Thursday, 12th June 2008 from 0900 to 1200, The Westin New York at Times Square. Click here to signup for NYC or use the URL http://mtld.mobi/node/1042.
- London - Friday, 27th June 2008 from 0900 to 1200, The Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten Hotel (Seven Dials just north of Covent Garden). Click here to signup for London or use the URL http://mtld.mobi/node/1043.
I hope to meet you at one of the events.
Paul
P.S. - Remember to register early as space is limited

BTW - the sign-up link for both the New York and London events are now live. For NYC it is http://mtld.mobi/node/1042 and for London it is http://mtld.mobi/node/1043.
Make sure that you sign-up early as it looks like the places are filling pretty quickly based upon the email traffic that we've already seen.
See you at the event.

hey, I'm curious I'd be very interested in attending this event. but will you only plan this event to last 3 hours? i'd be flying in from florida to check out sf too! will this trip be resourcesful? (considering the length of time)

Sorry, it is only a three hour event. These are the first that we are doing and based upon success and feedback, we might do more. We've also had some talk about offering the same content on-line via a Webinar format. If you give us a chance to get these initial ones done, we'll report back on the feedback and success and update everone on where we go from here.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul, no worries....I just wanted to feel out what you think. Webinar would definitely be ideal for an event like this. Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely be looking on here to see how the event went there. Thanks,
cheers,
