Hello,

I work for a web design company that hosts hundreds of sites built upon our own CMS. We are currently developing a Mobile option for all our sites, enabling our customers to have a mobile optimized version of their site in addition to their normal site.

We are planning on doing some simple amount of device redirection to show the site using an optimized template. I am curious if we should plan on removing all javascript in the template for those devices that do not have javascript support, or should we leave it in in case a device that actually does support javascript gets redirected to this version of the site? Will javascript code in the html be detrimental if the device doesn't support javascript, or will it just be ignored?

Thanks!
