A couple of weeks ago we started receiving a lot of Blackberry traffic that doesn't have a user agent. With some of our traffic sources this now happens about 60% of the time. Unfortunately, this breaks our device detection.

I checked the IP addresses and all of them trace back to RIM. So, I assume that these are in fact blackberries.

My only theory is that this might be users who came to us after clicking on ads within a Blackberry Application.

Does anyone know what is causing this and how we can properly identify these devices?
