I must confess my knowledge of ColdFusion is limited but as I understand it is very straightforward to load Java classes from within CF. The DeviceAtlas methods are all static which should actually make your work even easier as you never need to instantiate the object.

I'm sure there are numerous instructions around for using Java classes in ColdFusion, my guess is the syantics of these will differ depending on the version of CF you are using. I am currently trying to integrate mobiForge so that I can use an actual redirects based on mobile device but seem to keep running into snags. I am not the most knowledgable in the API realm and could use some assistance in integrating deviceAtlas in a Coldfusion 7 environment. I've spun my wheels for more hours that I should have. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me shed some light on this.

Do you konw how use Opera Mini proxy (header X-OperaMini-Phone-UA or X_OperaMini_Phone_UA) for this same task?
