Is goMobi suitable for mobilizing CMS web sites, for example WordPress and/or phpBB?
The special of CMS are:
1. the content is easy to change, new topics, replies, comments every day;
2. the layout are different because of different theme;
3. the content may different for different users -- private forum.
If goMobi is suitable for CMS, could I develop one solution which can mobilize all WordPress (or phpBB) web sites, or I have to do multiple development for multiple sites?
I read goMobi introduction, the "META tags" and "CSS classes" are not enough for the conversion -- my understanding is we need for/loop for variable replies/comments; we need if/else for display/hidden content.
I know right now each CMS has mobile friendly add-on/plug-in module. The add-on solution works well from development perspective, while it does not work from business perspective -- it is hard for developer to monetize the development. Most App in Apple Store are sold in 99 cents. But it is un-acceptable if developer sell the mobile friendly module in 99 cents because this is server side code and this is source code, not binary file. While, it is un-acceptable for webmaster to buy it in 29.99 USD because most of them only need a solution, they do not care about the code. (I think this is the reason why most add-on module can not keep for a long time.)
I believe a online solution, like goMobi, is a good idea -- developers can sell the conversion service in 0.99 cents per year per web site.
So, is goMobi suitable for mobilize CMS? If not, are you interesting in this idea, are you going to do any enhancement on this direction?
We haven't targeted any particular CMS or blogging platforms with goMobi. Since we include the option to transcode your desktop site (in the Advanced section of the control panel), you can use goMobi to mobilize your blog.
This will be an automatic conversion, so is not guaranteed to look quite as nice as a custom built mobile plugin. On the other hand - it should work on pretty much every device, and the transcoder will automatically paginate pages that are too big to be handles by low-end devices, and will resize images appropriately.

Could you elaborate on this? I would suggest you try out the transcoding process on your CMS/blog to see if you are happy with the results.
The feedback from my customers are: 1. they do not care about if I use transcoding or add-on/plug-in solution, 2. they want the same result as add-on module -- in detail, they want a iPhone style WordPress and/or phpBB3. Transcoding solution is acceptable, but they will not pay for it.
I know each solution has its advantage and disadvantage. Transcoding is a good idea in many cases. What I mean is if many developers have the same request as me -- use transcoding solution to convert desktop into iPhone, Android, BlackBerry... theme mobile friendly web page, maybe you should consider this enhancement to attract more users.

I'm looking for a way to embed tables of information returned from database queries.
I understand that this is referred to as a "Custom Module."

How do I develop such functionality?
