The emulators are quite resource hungry at the best of times, and can sometimes take some time to load. What browser are you running, and are you on a fast Internet connection?
The phone emulators aren't working on my system (they were working as of last week). I get the following Java console errors:

I've already tried re-installing Java. IE and FF have the same problem. I'm running Vista Home Basic and IE 8 + Service Pack 2 were recently installed.

I was running Firefox but its all sorted now. it was a problem with the Java. Thanks
