I have a dumb phone (LG Xenon on AT&T). Up until a couple of updates ago I could use the mobile theme, including the admin stuff.

I have updated WP as well as the mobile theme to the fixed 'beta' version. I have the optimization for Nokia disabled (it was confusing my dumb phone).

I get the mobile login page, click the login button, and my phone totally shuts off. If it were a PC, I'd call it the blue screen of death.

Being a dumb phone, of course I get no errors to share with you. And also being a dumb phone, it's not something any development types would want to waste time trying to figure out. I just wanted to share in case anyone else is trying to figure out WTF is wrong with their phone.
