Hi,
I’ve a question over how to set up a dot Mobi domain for Wordpress.
Am I right in thinking if I set up the Mobi plugin on our Wordpress website located at www.castletownbere.ie/bearanews and then redirect www.bearanews.mobi in our hosting panel to point at castletownbere.ie/bearanews that this would work?

Hi John,

I would just be a little careful with having a different folder structure on the desktop site to that on the mobile site.

But yes, you can set up the DNS to point to the same server (and make sure the server is ready to accept requests for the bearanews.mobi host.

The plugin provides a number of choices as to how the mobile switching works: either by recognizing the device and/or which domain they visited. The documentation should help.
