Thanks for the feedback. It was even a stretch to support WPMU2.6, partly because of the way that that platform uses domains already in order to decide which blog to display.

Suffice to say it does work: http://tripleodeon.com is on WPMU2.6

I've been on holiday since they released WPMU2.7, so it's entirely possible the mechanism has changed entirely.

We'll need to investigate. I know there are plans to merge WP and WPMU back together again, but in the meantime, I know it is popular and I'd love to support it properly.

Stand by for support in v1.x ;-)

WPMU2.7 and WP2.8 support are slated for being 'supported platforms' in the v1.1 release.

I’ve continued experimenting and found it works great with the following config:
WPMU 2.8.2
Wordpress Mobile Pack 1.1.1
Wordpress MU Domain Mapping plugin 0.4.3

Due to the setup in the Domain Mapping plugin it seems to work better if, alphabetically, the mobile domain follows the desktop domain (ie, wp.com would work better with wp.mobi than it would with m.wp.com).
