I just joined mobiForge today and I'm liking the site already!

I'm about to embark on a career change and become a mobile device designer. To that end, I'm also about to start an OU course in Computers and Design

What I'd really love to know is what do most of you think is the best recognised route into this career and what are the most important areas I should be studying?
