Device Detection in the Cloud
Last month we mentioned we were going to launch our DeviceAtlas Personal service, and not being the types to welch on our promise, we came up with the goods. To recap - this service gives you the awesome power of a device database, but without the need to install one. Right now we're getting a feel for how developer's like you are finding the service, so do take it for a test spin and tell us what you think.

Lastminute.com Labs Introduces DA Rails plugin
And while we're on the subject of DeviceAtlas... The kind folk over at Lastminute.com Labs have created a neat Rails wrapper for the DA Ruby API. It gets better! They have released this plugin into the wild for all to use, AND, to top it all off they have written a nice and concise tutorial on how to use it. Hats off to the Lastminute.com Labs team!
