Announcing mobiForge Antenna
We have a new feature designed to help improve your signal-to-noise ratio of mobile-related content. This is our Digg/Reddit clone and its aim is to bring you a highly focused set of the best content about the mobile web, selected by our panel of experts. In true Digg/Reddit style you can vote your favorite articles up and your most loathed down. You can also submit potential scoops to be included in the list.
This is a spanking new feature, so we'd love to hear your feedback about how to make it better.

A Guide to Mobile Emulators
This month we have an awesome article by Mike McQuillan (Technical Director at m-send). It covers everything you need to know about mobile emulators, from the state of the art smartphone emulators including iPhone, Android & Palm to some of the more obscure emulators that you might not have known even exist. The article includes tips on how to install and use the emulators, and where to find them too.

Understanding UI in Android
Another new author on mobiForge this month is Soma Ghosh. Soma gives us a gentle introduction to the world of J2ME applications. Plenty of code is included, and you will learn how to setup your environment and develop your first 'Hello World' J2ME Midlet.

mF shortlisted for Golden Spiders Awards
Yes, we've been shortlisted for the Golden Spiders Awards in the category of Best Educational, Research and Training site. We're chuffed of course. We would ask you to go and vote like mad for your favorite mobile dev site but it's not that kind of competition and we'll just have to hope for sensible judges..
And finally, we tried running some Google ads for a while but we got tired at how badly targeted they were. We'd like instead to offer space to our readers at our newly reduced rate. Reach tens of thousands of mobile fans!

See you on mobiForge!
