A Python Device-Aware Webapp

Ronan Cremin of dotMobi delivers a concise description on how to create a simple Python webapp that is device aware. This article shows just how little code is required to make an app that is fully device aware, and that can change its presentation entirely depending on the nature of the device accessing it. The device-detection is hosted on Google App Engine. Now you just need your own idea to build around it!

The Beauty of Device Data

An interesting post by Ronan Cremin shows the result of graphing the data contained within one of our JSON device data files. The device data is represented as a Patricia Tree and organized around user-agent strings of the devices represented. The resulting graph is spectacular - it has an eerie, organic look to it, not unlike a certain seafaring invertebrate, but don't take our word for it...
