What has happened? Have we sold out? Are we making a cheap buck out of our developer forum?
Thankfully not. This is all part of an altruistic experiment in mobile advertising. Those of you who visited the mobile version of mobiForge may have noticed that mobile ads started popping up on the site today. This coincides with an article we're writing on mobile advertising, to be published in the next couple of days. Rather than write about this in theoretical terms, we decided to try out some of the services to see how well they work in practice. We'll be reporting our findings in a few weeks. We might even make a couple of dollars on it. Watch this space...

Well, one may find this a bit weird to see developer forums going all the way to doing philanthropic experiments but truly this is really one of the best ways of mobile advertising. I too have found that there is indeed an increase in the number of ads when I visit mobiForge through mobiles as is opposed to the case with what we can see when visiting the site from the computer. Anyway, glad you notified it, Ronan!.There are a lot of websites like who delivers sms messaging services, I have been planning to promote one of my products the same way.Have anyone heard about the grouptexting.com ? How good is it?
