HTML5 on .mobi Domain

I am building a jQueryMobile site and trying to decide on a domain to deliver it over. The m.our-institution.org solution is a bit long and it would be good to brand it with a .mobi domain but there seems to be this XHTML-MP restriction on use of .mobi domains.

Would it be acceptable to do content negotiation on a .mobi domain so that clients with accept headers that prioritized XHTML-MP would be served a basic, compliant XHTML page whilst everyone else got a full Mobile HTML5 experience? I suspect the logs would show no human asking for the XHTML-MP page.

Hello Guys,

How do I get the source code, is there any way in adding stuff to the source code?

Eg: I want to incorporate a google search, but the code given to me I dont know where to put it. If I want ads to appear from ad mobiForge again I dont know how to put the code or links in the source, some guidance and help would be great.

I am thinking about developing Mobile website which will be based on PlayWith.mobi domain, so please can somebody tell me is this worth of all costs which the project will need.

Are some web hosting companies faster or more efficient, thus better for mobile sites?

I have never had a website before. I was just looking over hostgator.com. I need a way to test my mobile site when I get it together.
