splitViewBased Application for ipad

Hi
I'm just trying to make the same application (for ipad) as it is in this link:

http://mobiforge.com/developing/story/developing-split-view-based-apps-ipad

but when I try to run the program, it shows only a black screen ipad.
I think because in the project (figure 7 shown in the link above ) splitViewController outlets contain:
* Navigation Controller
* Detail View Controller
but in my project it's different, it doesn't contain these items.

your help would be appreciated (project attached).

many thanks

John Davidson

Selecting devices to use for testing

Hi all,

I am developing an application a) for mobile devices that support Java applications and b) for Android devices. I am developing this application for mobile devices in India. I would like to know
a) which device (non-touch) is best suited for testing the application developed on J2ME. The device should be such that if I cover testing this one device, then the app should most likely work on all other devices that support Java applications.

read more

Gartner predicts that by 2013, mobile phones will overtake PCs as the most common web access device worldwide.

With mobile web growing at such an unprecedented rate, it is imperative that your mobile applications meet the performance and scalability expectations.

Could performance testing for mobile applications do wonders? The answer is – Yes.

XHTML xml:lang versus lang attribute

The XHTML specification indicates that xml:lang and lang should be used in conjunction. Why doesn't the mobiReady validator know this? It produces a false-positive when detecting errors.
