mime type not being detected correctly

According to the .mobi readiness checker I should have the mime type specified as application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml or application/xhtml+xml. I have tried both of these and neither seems to be working, the application detects the mime type as text/html even though in the markup window just below that it shows the correct information. The only way I was able to get around this was to send the header data from a php script, which subsequently made the webpage appear without anything but the plain text with no formatting whatsoever.

Failure-proof ‘Test Automation’ of Mobile Apps – Why and How?

With mobile web growing at such an unprecedented rate, could Failure-proof Test Automation for your mobile apps do real wonders? The answer is – Yes. Reduce the time to develop and test your data-centric mobile apps!

The idea is to address key-issues of Mobile Test-automation, like:

- Diversity in device features, platforms, technology
- Tight deadlines but large number of test cases
- Technical challenges such as API level test execution and verification of UI Control

XHTML MP 1.2 failing validation with ©

I'm having a strange issue when it comes to the viewing of my mobile site through my browser, as well as when trying to validate it. I have a feeling the two issues could be related.

I've never encountered this issue before, as I have always just defaulted to using XHTML MP 1.0, which seems to work fine (1.1 works fine too).

However, as soon as I move to 1.2, Firefox tells me that there is an undefined entity parsing error - on "©". Which sounds very strange to me, as it works 100% on the other two profiles.

Validators
