23. Number of Mobile Subscribers Worldwide
As of Q1 2015, the total number of worldwide mobile subscriptions is over 7 billion. This is a dramatic increase from this statistic in the year 2000, in which the number of mobile subscribers was only 738 million.

It is predicted that by the end of 2015, 4G LTE data use will rise by 59% and mobile video will account for 60% of data traffic.
