We all know how important accurate device profiles are, and this is proven by the success DeviceAtlas has already had in less than 4 month. In the initial months we have focused on consolidating existing “database silos” and we are still doing that, but we want to do more now and introduce real-time browser testing with TA-DA.
TA-DA stands for Test Application for DeviceAtlas and is a test website that users can visit with their mobile devices, display pages and report to DeviceAtlas. Each test is associated with a property of DeviceAtlas, after displaying a page the user may report if the result was as expected or not. Results are stored in our database and processed during the night. A web interface to monitor your testing in real-time is also provided.
A test application must be tested deeply and we know how hard it can be to do everything right in mobile, especially with all these different network configurations, browsers and standards. For this reason we want to give access to a limited number of developers so that we can get feedback about the tests, usability and functionality. We think this is a great chance to take a look at what’s coming and send us your feedback about how to improve it make it work best.
We would like to have some testers from every corner of the world, so do not hesitate to ask for access.
If you are interested to test TA-DA, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
