DeviceAtlas implementation of the W3C Simple API Recommendation

It is almost midnight in Dublin, almost 1am in Italy and we are still busy preparing what we think is a very exciting release. We have worked hard in the W3C in the last year together with some of the greatest players of this industry (Fundacion CTIC, MobileAware, Volantis, Telefonica, to name a few) and the results are eventually coming.

A working draft has been recently published about the upcoming Recommendation for a Simple API to access information in DDR’s (Device Description Repositories). Every modern DDR should have an implementation of the API and for this reason we are preparing a preview for our developers.
Why is it a preview? Well, this is really the bleeding edge of technology, but we want to give you access while we are working on it, so you can let us know what you think. The preview will be available this week, so start rolling up your sleeves because it’s time to get your hands dirty with some fresh code.
