Like an addictive drug, with industry awards you’re always left craving more: more information… more stuff we can learn from.
Alberto Benbunan at hip Spanish agency Mobile Dreams Factory sums it up perfectly: “There’s more to awards ceremonies than recognizing the efforts of agencies or clients, they should also inspire others.”
It’s always interesting to know who and what, but what’s really useful is how and why.
That’s why mobiThinking is delighted to get our hands on the video case studies submitted to the judges at the recent Mobile Marketing Awards, where Mobile Dreams Factory stole the show. Now we’ve seen what has previously been for-the-judges-eyes-only, we’re keen to persuade other agencies to share their submissions with us.
It just so happens there’s a new mobile awards ceremony on the block. The more the merrier in mobiThinking’s opinion.
The winners of the inaugural Mobile Excellence Awards were unveiled this week (details below).
At the moment, this is a list of finalist and winners… who and what, but we hope we will soon learn how and why.
We know there must be a depth of material behind each submission, otherwise how would the judges make their decisions, so we hope the organizers will share it with us – mobiThinking has asked very nicely. But we invite all of the entrants to send in their case studies – not the sales ones, but the short, sharp and sweet ones that the judges see.
If these excellent video case studies from Mobile Dreams Factory are anything to go by, then all mobile marketers have something to learn from the campaigns that are nominated for awards.
But don’t take our word for it – judge the Mobile Dreams Factory campaigns for yourself.
And if you believe your campaigns will inspire mobile marketers and should be featured on mobiThinking, we invite you to send them to: editor (at) mobiThinking.com.
