Here is a video montage of interviews with the speakers at the recent MLove Conference in Germany. It’s a stylish promo from the organizers, but is well worth a watch. There are some insightful soundbites and thought-provoking comments from some of the cleverest people in the business.
Take this quote from Jonathan McDonald of This Fluid World, for example:
“I think we should as a society and entrepreneurs in business concentrate more on what things do, rather than what things are. People create apps and Websites and tools and technologies with absolutely no purpose behind it except to make money. I don’t know what this fascination is with trying to commercialize things for the sake of trying to buy a big car when what we could be trying to do is stop people killing each other.”
Also featured: Harald Neidhardt, MLOVE; Louisa Heinrich, Fjord; Jessi Baker, TBWA; Conrad Fritzsch, tape.tv; Stefanie Hoffmann, Gabi; Ben Jones, AKQA; Felix Petersen, Amen; Nik Roope, Poke / Lovie Awards; Martin Inderbitzin, Projektil; Björn Woltermann, Telekom; Michael Breidenbrücker, RJDJ; Axel Nolte and Stefan Liske, PCH Innovations; Chris Locke, GSMA; Yuri van Geest, Singularity University Ambassador.
It left mobiThinking thinking “We need to do an interview with her… and him… and them…”
